As big 13 month olds, we have had a busy morning. Mommy gave us some yogurt and a spoon. We fed ourselves for breakfast using a spoon just like daddy and mommy. We were kind of messy but overall pretty successful. We ate in our diapers (changing us is a physical challenge these days) which made clean up really easy.
(I really enjoy being independent!)
After breakfast we played for a bit before heading to Kids Hair. Only one of us had a hair appointment - the shaggy mullet was going to get chopped! I got to relax with Daddy while Owen had to endure the torture. It didn't seem too torturous - he got to watch two other big boys get their hair cut and he had his own personal television to watch Finding Nemo. Owen played it cool the entire time but got a little crabby at the end when the lady brought out the big guns - blow dryer and electric razor.

Ethan doesn't show any signs of jealousy about Owen's haircut--which is beautiful-- or else he's learning to write in a diplomatic way. Eating yogurt while in diapers is reminiscent of Miles favorite outfit for eating, too. Mastering yogurt and other spoon foods isn't easy, but the boys look like they're going to get it under control fast! Happy 13 month birthday, little guys!
Those boys melt my heart...they need to lay off the cuteness factor :)
A hair dryer?!?! Really?!?!!? Poor Owen...I would have been upset, too! Love the new 'do and am glad you found such a fun place for them to experience this grown up activity!
p.s. Hannah took her shirt off at dinner tonight in honor of the boys' yogurt eating adventure!
