Flood!

Okay it isn't as bad as it sounds but we did get a lot of rainfall last night in a short amount of time. This intense rainfall caused Charlie and I to learn more about our house. We also learned not to tease Sven (weather guy from Kare 11) about his meaty thighs (see Charlie's blog).

We learned:
1. The bedroom in the basement is on the bottom of slope in the backyard.
2. If it rains hard enough there will be a mudslide starting from our driveway to our female neighbors' driveway.
3. If it rains hard enough the egress window will start to fill up with water.
4. If you combine the mudslide and water, you have a mess and part of that liquid mess ends up in your basement.
